Hi!

Hello there, my name is Ashley Farquharson and I do luge. Once, during one of my practice sessions, I had some tourists come up to me and ask some questions about the sport. One of the questions was "What do you call yourself? I mean, lugers is kind of weird to say,"
            I said "No, we usually prefer the term 'sliders' due to all of the misconceptions,"
            Their response was, "What misconceptions?" They didn't understand why I was laughing.

Aside from luge, I also like softball, volleyball, and I have always wanted to be a vet. I have two dogs, a chihuahua named Tak and a husky named Nala. I am a great baker and my dad owns a deli.
