Cherry Blossoms
It is fourth quarter, and since the beginning of third, there has been a change. Seasons are changing, and summer has begun to rear it's ugly head, in the form of spring.
The season has become warmer, wetter- not more precipitation, just that the preexisting precipitation is melting. It smells like spring- that lovely, breezy stench, the rotting vegetation, as all the grass everywhere is covered in two inches of water- I guess even grass drowns in the fresh feeling of spring.
Flowers are coming up everywhere. Bulbs, seeds, gardening tools. They fill every fresh spot of space- shelf space, in most supermarkets.
Easter is also another mark for whether spring is here or not. If easter is here, spring probably is too. Little baby chicks, colorful, fun eggs, bunnies… Crawfish Etouffee (I get to do the cooking), candy, hard boiled eggs, candy.
In Japan the cherry blossoms are beginning to appear.
Spring is such pretty season.
